Mason Kovach is a recent graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, where he studied music technology. Mason began his musical career as a trumpet player in elementary school. His love for technology within music was found when he began recording trumpet multitracks and brass quintets in high school. During his time at Penn State, Mason has created an electronic instrument using broken electronics and piezo mics, produced EDM and ambient electronic music, and recorded various ensembles including a wind ensemble, jazz band, brass quintet, acapella group, and numerous solo instruments in both a classical and popular music setting. He also spent a summer working in A/V installation and another as an intern at a local studio. Mason is excited to take the next step as he enters the workforce with his knowledge of recording, mixing, making electronic music, and other facets of the music technology field.
